The Chairman of the Edo State All Progressives Congress (APC), Emperor Jarret Tenebe, has mocked the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Asue Ighodalo, for allegedly dumping documents at the tribunal and walking away without explanation.

Tenebe, reacting to the sudden closure of Ighodalo’s case at the governorship election petition tribunal, said there are consequences for submitting documents to the court without properly linking them to specific claims or providing necessary explanations.

His words: “Dumping of documentary evidence occurs when a party in a case submits a large volume of documents to the court without properly linking them to specific aspects of their case through witness testimony or legal arguments. It typically happens when due diligence is not followed.”

He added, “Ighodalo failed to explain the relevance of the documents he presented in court. There is no proper analysis or connection between the documents and the issues in dispute.”

According to him, “The documents have been left for the court to interpret without guidance from the party presenting them. What the PDP has done is simply to dump the documents in court, and there will be consequences for that.”
