The Rivers State Police Command has declared two individuals wanted in connection with a violent attack on the Sole Administrator of Ahoada-East Local Government Area, Hon. Goodluck Iheanachor. The suspects, Mr. Hector Ekakita, Chief Security Officer, and Mr. Aloni Olodi, Chief of Staff, are alleged to have led a group of about thirty persons in assaulting the Administrator, forcefully obtained his signature under duress, inflicting bodily harm, and stealing personal and official properties.
According to the police, the attack occurred on June 20, 2025, at the Council Secretariat, Ahoada East. The Administrator continues to receive medical attention due to injuries sustained during the incident.
Despite a public notice and formal invitation, the suspects have failed to report to the Police State Headquarters for questioning. Consequently, the Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga A. Adepoju, has declared them wanted.
The Police Command warns that anyone aiding, hiding, or assisting the wanted individuals will face the full weight of the law. Citizens with credible information on their whereabouts are urged to contact the Police State Headquarters or call the provided numbers.
