The Concerned Edo Citizens Forum (CECF), a group of critical stakeholders in Edo State, has thrown its weight behind Hon. Omosede Igbinedion’s candidacy for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket to represent Ovia Federal Constituency. This endorsement comes after a meeting of Ovia APC leaders and delegates, who unanimously endorsed Hon. Igbinedion as their sole candidate.
The CECF believes that Hon. Igbinedion’s endorsement is a testament to her experience, leadership skills, and commitment to the people of Ovia Federal Constituency. As a seasoned politician and former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Igbinedion has demonstrated her ability to deliver quality representation and service to her constituents.
The CECF has called on all aspirants to accept the outcome of the endorsement exercise and work together to ensure the party’s victory in the forthcoming elections. The group also urges Hon. Igbinedion not to take the endorsement for granted, but to see it as an opportunity to provide quality representation for her people.
The CECF also expressed concern over misinformation circulating in some media spaces, particularly on social media, attempting to drag the Governor into the endorsement exercise. The group has urged people to disregard such unfounded claims, emphasizing that the endorsement reflects the wishes of the leaders and delegates of Ovia people.
The CECF’s endorsement of Hon. Omonsede Igbinedion is a vote of confidence in her leadership abilities and a recognition of her dedication to the people of Ovia Federal Constituency. The group believes that Hon. Igbinedion is the best candidate to fly the APC ticket and represent the constituency’s interests in the National Assembly.
