The visit was aimed at intimating ICTA of DEQA’s plan to integrate technology into quality assurance processes across the education sector in Edo State. Dr. Ogbemudia emphasized that the move is in line with the state government’s vision to leverage digital tools for effective monitoring, accountability, and improved service delivery in schools.

According to her, the adoption of technology will not only enhance transparency and efficiency but will also ensure real-time reporting, data-driven decision-making, and a more robust evaluation of educational standards.

The ICTA leadership, in their response, commended the DG for the innovative step and pledged their readiness to collaborate with DEQA in providing the necessary technological backbone to actualize the initiative. They noted that the partnership will further strengthen Edo State’s reputation as a pacesetter in educational reforms.

This landmark engagement sets the stage for the deployment of cutting-edge solutions that will transform quality assurance practices and deepen accountability in the state’s education system.
