The Edo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. Eugenia Abdallah, has reaffirmed the Ministry’s readiness to collaborate with the only Edo State housemate from Big Brother Naija (BBN) Season 10, Ivie Sabrina Idukpaye, to boost public awareness of government initiatives and advance women-focused programmes across the state.
Mrs. Abdallah made this known while warmly receiving Idukpaye during a courtesy visit to the Ministry, describing the engagement as both timely and significant. She emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to partnering with young, relatable voices capable of effectively engaging, inspiring, and mobilizing women particularly the younger demographic.
According to the Commissioner, such strategic collaborations are vital to amplifying the Ministry’s programmes, enhancing visibility, and encouraging broader participation in initiatives aimed at social development and women empowerment. She noted that the Edo State Government strongly believes in innovation, youth-driven advocacy, and purposeful partnerships as critical pillars for sustainable development.
Mrs. Abdallah commended Idukpaye for her sense of purpose, leadership qualities, and willingness to leverage her influence for the greater good. She expressed confidence that the proposed partnership would significantly strengthen the reach and impact of the Ministry’s programmes, inspire increased participation, foster long-term empowerment, and create meaningful opportunities for women and girls across Edo State.
In her remarks, Ivie Sabrina Idukpaye described the visit as part of her homecoming and reaffirmed her dedication to using her national platform to drive positive social change. She pledged her commitment to working with the Ministry to support initiatives that empower women, promote education, and create sustainable opportunities for young girls throughout the state.
