NULGE President Felicitates With Muslim Faithful On Eid-El-Maulud
…Urges Them To Emulate The Life Of Prophet Muhammed.

The National President of National Union of Local Government Employees, Comrade Ambali Hakeem Olatunji has call on muslims faithful nationwide to emulate the life of Prophet Muhammed as they celebrate his birth today.
Speaking recently via phone, he noted that Eid-el-maulud celebration is an important occasion which signifies the birth of Prophet Muhammed, adding that they should use this great opportunity to imbibe the teaching of our holy prophet Muhammed. (SAW).
“The prophet’s life and times symbolises empathy, unity, brotherhood, resilience, modesty, love for humanity, care for all and to crown it all, the submission to the will of Almighty Allah (Most gracious)”.
Continuing, “we as muslims have a lot to learn and also teach those around us, especially the aforementioned virtues of our great prophet”.
He, added that there is need to reflect on the prophets exemplary virtues and reaffirm commitment to the true values of humanity, which are compassion, unity, peace, love forgiveness and justice, amongst others.
He call on muslims to celebrate this auspicious occasion with love as they have always preached in their great Union.
He however urged them to use this occasion to pray for success of Local Government Autonomy for the betterment of Nigerian Citizenry.
