Senator Okpebholo Eulogies Oba Of Benin On 8th Coronation Anniversary, Birthday

The Edo State Governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo has join Nigerians, the People and Chiefs of the great Benin Kingdom to celebrate the revered Benin Monarch, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare 11, N’Ogidigan, Oba Of Benin, on the occasion of his birthday which coincided with his 8th coronation anniversary.

In a statement signed by the SA media to the Governor- elect, Godswill Inegbe, Senator Monday commended Oba Ewuare’s exploits on the throne of his forebears, particularly the return of the looted Benin artefacts.

The Governor-elect acknowledges His Royal Majesty’s wisdom, understanding, civility and deep sense of duty which has precipitated a new era of peace, progress and prosperity in Benin Kingdom and Edo State.

With heartfelt gratitude, the Governor-elect notes the fatherly prayers and advice that His Royal Majesty freely offered to him which helped him to navigate through political obstacles that confronted him during the governorship electioneering campaigns in Edo State.

“On behalf of my family and the great people of Edo State, who democratically elected me as the 6th civilian Governor of Edo State on September 21st, 2024, I celebrate you today our beloved royal father, the great Oba of the great Benin Kingdom.

“Your Royal Majesty, your reign has heralded a new era of peace, understanding, civility and progress among the people of Benin Kingdom and Edo State. Your extraordinary leadership qualities and fatherly prayers and advice calmed tempers that were hitherto raised to a boiling point during the electioneering campaigns of the just concluded governorship election in Edo State. Indeed, you are a worthy father that deserves to be celebrated.

“I prayed to almighty God and our ancestors to grant you unraveled wisdom, longevity and enduring peace as you continue to lead with distinction,” noted Senator Okpebholo.
