Okugbe-Ku Uzea Executives Urge Okpebholo To Modernise Uzea Kingdom

The Okugbe-Ku Uzea national executive a socio-Cultural group of Uzea kingdom have raised an appeal to His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo and the government of Edo State to come to the aid of this ancient community that has been in lack of basic social amenities like Electricity Education,Road Network,Hospital, security etc.
The group calls on his Excellency, Senator Okpebholo to come to the urgent aid of the people of Uzea Kingdom.
This Community been in exitence for decades has never had electricity till date,The whole community doesn’t have a secondary school, most of the primary schools where built in 1955 and needs urgent and serious rehabilitation for the school environment is no longer conducive for pupils and teachers for they are now co-habitat for reptiles, adolescents are detached from their familiar environment and this has exposed them to unwanted pregnancies, Rape ,it has also lead to students drop out and some of these cases outright death.
The Executive also stated the non-existentance of hospitals ,maternities or even primary health care centres which has resulted to high degree of maternal and child mobility and mortality and unnecessary loss of lives.
Kidnappers and fulani herdsmen raping wives and daughters,sometimes kill victims and set them ablaze, the group is calling on poilce and law enforcement Agencies severally the State government to get these criminal herders and kidnappers out of the bush and forest so that the villagers can be able to live and carry out their business.
They finally started that a Kingdom without electricity and other social amenities like Uzea Kingdom is inevitable heading for extinction thereby calling on the state government Senator Monday Okpebholo to salvage them from this impending danger.
