The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, has extended warm greetings to Muslim members of the sports community, urging them to draw inspiration from the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) during the Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration. He emphasized the importance of embodying virtues such as peace, tolerance, and compassion.
Enabulele called on athletes, coaches, officials, and sports enthusiasts to renew their commitment to personal and collective growth in sports, particularly during the ongoing 2025 National Youth Games in Asaba.
He encouraged stakeholders to embrace the spirit of hope, unity, and resilience that sports represents, using the festive period to recharge, reflect, and recommit to shared goals of excellence, development, and sportsmanship.
Eid-ul-Mawlid is seen as an opportunity for new beginnings, and Enabulele urged stakeholders to strive for renewed commitment to sports development in Edo State, consolidating its position as a leading force in Nigerian sports.
