The Edo State House of Assembly Service Commission has alerted the public to the circulation of unauthorized employment letters reportedly issued to 324 individuals.

In a public notice dated 1st December 2025, the Commission clarified that the employment offers did not follow any approved process and were therefore illegal and invalid.

According to the statement, all 324 letters are now officially declared null, void, and of no effect.
The Commission urged members of the public to disregard the documents and avoid acting on them.

While expressing regret over the situation, the Commission tendered an unreserved apology to all affected persons and acknowledged the inconvenience the development may have caused.

The Commission also reassured the public of its commitment to transparency and due process in all employment-related matters.
