Oligbi-Edeko Monitor CVR In Esan North-East, Says Turnout Impressive
The Deputy Speaker of Edo House of Assembly, Rt Hon (Mrs) Maria Omozele Oligbi-Edeko on Saturday monitored the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration Exercise in Esan North-East constituency II, as part of efforts to ensure a smooth registration process in her constituency.
Monitoring the Exercise at ward 10, Oligbi-Edeko said, the turnout of voters was impressive saying that support and logistics have been provided to ensure that the exercise was successful.
The Deputy Speaker while calling on all eligible voters to come out and register, said voter’s registration exercise was the first step in any electoral process.
“Initially there were challenges with network connectivity and we had to support with provision of WiFi and the exercise picked up.
” The massive turn of the youth and the elderly shows the commitment of the people to elect the candidate of their choice.
“From ward 10, we are happy that the exercise is going on smoothly but we would have wished that they bring in more machines so that before the 10 days runs out, more people will be registered.
“Am here at ward 10 to monitor the process and to support my people and encouragement them to come out and get their PVC to vote come September 21.
