Spread the love

It’s been eight years since my dear father passed away, and there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about him. His absence still feels like a gaping hole in my heart, and I often find myself wishing he was here to share in my joys and sorrows.

As I reflect on the past eight years without him, I am grateful for the memories we shared and the lessons he taught me. He may not be physically present, but his spirit lives on in me and in all those whose lives he touched.
I will continue to honor his memory by living my life with integrity, kindness, and compassion.
Over the last few weeks there have been catalogue of legacies been circulated. It shows the lasting impact during his life time.
This is a man called by God. We remember you today

Dr. Ogbemudia not only developed the old Midwestern state, let us remember that he was the one who faced Ojukwu head on (Nigeria Troup) that save Midwest from the total invasion of the brafan soldiers which Ojukwu was a arrow head.
Up till today Edo State hasn’t been able to produce a man like him.
However, there is one thing often neglected when we think of a person’s legacy. We often focus on their achievements, accomplishments, and contributions to society. This important aspect of a person’s legacy is often overlooked or neglected. Yet is arguably the most important: Children.

Death has forced me to confront the question: Is a man’s children not part of his legacies?

A man’s children are, without a doubt, an integral part of his legacy. They are the physical manifestation of his love, values, and beliefs. The way he raises them, the values he instills in them, and the love he shows them all contribute to the kind of people they become.
Dr. Samuel Osaigbovo Ogbemudia’s legacies is a testament to the importance of how well the children are treated in the society. As a renowned figure in then Midwest now Edo/ Delta State, his children carry his genes and values, inheriting not only his physical characteristics but also his values, beliefs, and principles. They are a reflection of his inner self and carry his legacy forward.

How time flies. It’s been eight years since my dear father passed away, and there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about him. His absence still feels like a gaping hole in my heart, and I often find myself wishing he was here to share in my joys and sorrows.
I will continue to honor his memory by living my life with integrity, kindness, and compassion. Daddy, wherever you are, I hope you know how much you are missed and loved. You will always hold a special place in my heart.

The past eight years
without him, though painful but I am grateful for the memories we shared and the lessons he taught me. He may not be physically present, but his spirit lives on in me and in all those whose lives he touched.

I will continue to honor his memory by living my life with integrity, kindness, and compassion. Daddy, wherever you are, I hope you know how much you are missed and loved. You will always hold a special place in my heart.

Reflecting on the last eight years of his passing, it actually showed me how people behaved. The pain often shows up when I look around despite my efforts in all aspects, Daddy is not there anymore, as no one will speak for you. Thank God for all that I have achieved because his spirit lives on. May his soul continue to rest in peace.
