The Director-General of Team Having an Orientative Mindset for Creativity (TEAM HOC), Emmanuel Osagie Usifoh, on Thursday led members of the organization on a courtesy visit to the Edo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in Benin City.
Speaking during the visit, Usifoh described TEAM HOC as a non-governmental organization dedicated to discovering creative talents and empowering young people to unlock and maximize their hidden potentials.

He stressed that every individual possesses unique abilities that require the right guidance, mentorship, and opportunities to flourish.
Usifoh informed the ministry about the organization’s forthcoming programme titled “From Admission to Ambition,” an initiative designed to mentor students, inspire academic excellence, and support educational aspirations through scholarship opportunities for deserving beneficiaries.
According to him, findings from the organization’s engagements with students revealed that many young people gain admission into tertiary institutions but are unable to pursue their education due to financial challenges.
Responding, the Edo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Eugenia Abdallah, commended TEAM HOC for its commitment to youth empowerment and educational advancement.
Hon. Abdallah noted that programmes aimed at supporting education and empowering young people align with the vision of the Edo State Government to build a productive, self-reliant, and development-driven society.
She added that many young persons only require encouragement, mentorship, and access to opportunities to excel and contribute meaningfully to society.
The commissioner further assured the organization of the ministry’s readiness to collaborate with credible groups and initiatives that positively impact women, children, and youths across Edo State.
