The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu, on Monday, October 12, 2026, received complimentary copies of two books authored by Pastor Victor Ativie, titled “Why Worry?” and “Faith That Works,” specifically for the hospital’s management and library.

Following the presentation, Prof. Ize-Iyamu expressed her profound gratitude for the visit. The CMD conducted the clergyman on a brief tour of key facility upgrades, the geriatric library and lounge, the Special Investigation Unit (SIU), and the Day room in the hospital, highlighting several impactful interventions executed under her administration.

Impressed by the visible transformation and infrastructural developments driven by the UBTH CARES agenda, Pastor Ativie commended the CMD’s visionary leadership and offered heartfelt prayers for her continued success.

According to the cleric, the book, ‘Faith That Works’, explores the kind of faith that pleases God. “Whether you are facing a major decision, pursing God’s purpose, or trusting Him through life’s uncertainties, these pages will challenge you to stop waiting for perfect conditions and begin walking in confident obedience. “

The Christian literature is expected to enrich the hospital’s library resources and spiritually uplift patients seeking strength and encouragement during their recovery.
