Chief Enahoro’s Community Smiles Again
…as Senator Okpebholo vows to transform community .
The Govonor of Edo state Senator Monday Okpebholo
is making frantic efforts to bringing development in onewa Esan North East LGA.
The Govornor inspected the ongoing projects including the construction and rehabilitation of key infrastructure, such as the long abandoned community road,which has been in a state of neglect for years by previous governments,this will open a new chapter for indigenous and residents of the community .
Senator Okpebholo while expressing his commitment stated his commitment to ensuring that the community receives the attention and development it deserves.
He stated that the road projects amongst others is to reflect his administration focus in bridging the gaps in infrastructure and addressing the needs of underserved areas across the state.
Chief Enahoro , “Father of Nigeria State ” fondly called by academics and many Nigerans became the first to move the motion for Nigeria’s independence in 1953 which was eventually granted in 1960 after several political setbacks and defeats in the parliament .
Chief Anthony Eromosele Enahoro CFR was one of the Nigeria’s foremost anti-colonial and pro democracy unapologetic activist.
Bringing development to Chief Enahoro’s community is to honor the late activist’s legacy and reaffirm his dedication to improving the living conditions of all Edo State citizens, and ensuring progress, unity and prosperity in every sphere of the state.he stated.
